Operations

Partner Operations

Keep partner onboarding, follow-ups, records, and operational readiness moving with disciplined communication and reliable execution.

Bengaluru / Patna

The role

Partner Operations turns partner interest into operational readiness. You will coordinate next steps, keep records accurate, resolve routine blockers, and make sure commitments do not disappear between conversations. The work requires persistence and commercial awareness, but it is not a pure sales role: follow-through, data quality, activation, and partner readiness matter as much as the initial conversation.

What you will do

  • Coordinate partner onboarding from initial information collection through profile or listing readiness, identifying missing details and keeping each next step visible.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and spreadsheet records, including current status, owner, last contact, promised action, due date, blockers, and outcome.
  • Follow up consistently with partners and internal teams through clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Check operational readiness details such as listing completeness, service or product information, availability details, and required supporting material, according to the team's rules.
  • Spot stalled onboarding, repeated delays, incomplete records, and low-response patterns. Escalate risks early rather than waiting for a deadline to pass.
  • Track basic partner funnel and activation data, prepare accurate updates, and highlight actions that could improve completion or readiness.
  • Document recurring questions and process gaps, then help improve checklists, partner guidance, templates, and internal handoffs.
  • Coordinate with support, content, and other operations colleagues to resolve partner issues and close loops with clear ownership.

What you need

These are the core capabilities for this role, not a wishlist of unrelated skills.

  • Typically 1–4 years of experience in operations, partner coordination, account support, customer success, sales operations, or a closely related role.
  • Strong follow-up discipline. You keep commitments visible, record outcomes, and continue chasing unresolved work without constant reminders.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain a missing requirement or next step without creating confusion.
  • Comfortable working with a CRM and spreadsheets to maintain clean records, monitor progress, and identify obvious gaps.
  • A process-oriented working style. You follow defined rules consistently and flag rules that are unclear or ineffective.
  • Commercial awareness: you understand how partner readiness, response time, listing quality, and activation affect business outcomes.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgement about when to resolve an issue yourself, and discipline about when to escalate it.

Helpful, but not essential

  • Experience coordinating business partners, sellers, service providers, vendors, or other external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet filters, sorting, data validation, and common formulas.
  • Experience improving onboarding checklists, CRM hygiene, follow-up templates, or operational reporting.
